hey guys, ive got a ke30 with an sr20 in it. Its come to that part where the interior is getting redone. Ive done the door triming because lets face it its really easy, some foam and material and ur done. I also done the parcel tray and the boot and reagards to the seats ive got aftermarket bucket seats so that leaves me with the roof lining. I would like to know has anyone done this themselves and if so how do i take it out without damaging it as my mum is extremely handy with a sewing machine and i well get her to make me one using the old one as a template. Ive noticed that there are rods in the roof ling to keep it tight. Any help would be appreciated as ive been quoted as much as 450 to get it done.

thanks in advance

Once you've freed the edges of the lining, the rods should pop out of their holders with a bit of gentle bending. Thats about all there is to it from memory. Mine looked like several square panels sewn together, and the downward bits for the pillars... Should be able to use old one as template.
