rundell Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I ripped all that stuff out of my ke55 for my turbo 4k didnt seam to hurt it but i only had my car running for a bit before the head gasket to blow. Ill try get a pic of it for you if its like the ke55 one it should be like a cylinder thing on the right of the carby Quote
irokin Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 You're better off leaving it there if it isn't causing you any real (i.e. non-cosmetic) problems. If its bothering you that much get some flashy coloured silicon hose and replace all the lines verbatim. Quote
rundell Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 haha prob why it was blowling so much smoke mayb my headgaskit was fine ahhaha Quote
Big Red Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Hey guys, Just trying to clean up my engine bay a bit (4KC) I have seen ke engines bays with no emmitions crap hanging around the carby at all i want that too i just don't know what not to rip off, Just saw a photo on this site of (bigred)'s ke70 with a clean bay, so if anyone knows what to do any help would be great :D Thanks guys, Ryan Hey Mate, How ya goin, the carbi thats on my 4K is standard as well as the engine. Not sure what your talking about blowing smoke. My car has been like this for three - fours years, I have taken everything off, even the pipe that goes down to the stantdard exhaust manifold where the pipe goes up to the carbi there is a big nut that holds it on for the heat for the carbi or whatever it does, it was just shit so I ripped it off haha. I undid it and took the pipe off and just squashed the end of it and got it sealed. I wouold tell you but its a bit hard to explain on here, if you lived close by I'd show ya it. It runs good though, I have never had any trouble with it. Let me know how you go. Quote
