the wire near the oil filter should be for the oil press light sender,

as for the dizzy, the denso electronic dizzy have a built in ignitor but 9 out of ten are stuffed, ive got one on my 4k and i had to bypass the factory ignitor and wire a bosch one and it works a treat,

if ya need any wiring sorted, i will be able to help out caus in an auto electrican.,

if nearby i could have a look for ya. cheers, ash

i don't have a pic of the ign system but my setup has a coil of a vn commodore v8 and the ign modual is a bosh part no BIM024 and inside the dizzy were the old modual was i just cut it out and ran 2 wires to get rid of it,

the 2 wires from the dizzy go striaght from the dizzy to the ign modual,

the coil must have a 12v power feed to the positive

then a positive and negative from the coil go to the modual

all up the new modual is a 4 wire unit with a 12v feed negative feed to coil, and the 2 wires from the pickup out of the dizzy.

but if yours is ok just run the 2 wires to the coil (it should be a black and a black with a orange trace) the black wire to negative and the other to the positive, and get rid of the old coil and ign ballast resistor to give a 12v feed to coil,

any more just ask

cheers, ash

i have a black with green writing 12v nippon denso electric dizzy coil.

so the dizzy has 2 wires coming out of it: a red clay one. and a white one, which one to which part on the coil you reckon?

cheers many, no anything about the altenator also?

cheers
