I'm pretty sure even if you charged only $5 per ride from people you would make a profit from what you have spent on the car easily. The waiting list might be 2 years long but still..

not likely! id be using WAY more than $5 worth of rear tyres pre drive

How are the leaves holdin the extra power? or don't have enough grip to find out?

car seems to tramp a fair bit more now, that was with the WORN tyres on the back. but ive just put on some fresh 205's on the back (which fill out the guards very nicely i might add) and havnt had a chance to test them out yet.

tub shmub, keep it a street sleeper

run some street slicks, once you warm them babies up ull be lifting like the worlds strongest man!! :)

cheers, scott

EXACTLY! its a street car and a sleeper so no tubs at this stage

Ive got some semi-slicks for the rear, i just need to find some more rims to put them on

a few small changes are planned for the car once I'm finished exams, one of them is turning the boost up

Also scared myself a little by doing some number crunching......

Ive kept a pretty good record of money spent on the car, what started out as a cheap build has just recently blown out to $19k. IMO the car still needs another $10g spent on it to before I'm happy with it lol

and now you will even be able to see where you are going at night when the foot is down...

Yep! cheers Paul, fitted the new headlights today. Also cleaned and repainted the trims while i was at it, the difference is amazing!

Ive also almost finished prepping the car for those WIDE rims, so i might have to go grab them so i can get the pumped up :D

Reckon you will see the 250rwkw mark?

I wont put any figures out there just yet, always said anything over 200rwkw was a bonus lol so not doing to bad atm

I plan on running 15psi

Sorting out my water spray set-up too, hopefully that will be done early next week along with a couple of other things.

Got a whole heap of pics on my new phone too so ill get them up asap

recently regoed the car, been enjoying driving it again plus having the time to do a bit of work on it.

Been serviced, CAI done which was a major pain! 4inch piping and not much room ment it needed a pretty tight bend, cheers to LeRoy at BTR for the help with that.

Finally cleaned up and painted my half cage so i can see how that looks in the car

Borrowed a pair of 14x10 rims with 265's off Paul, just need the beads reset and ill bolt them on and see how i go with some grip

Unfortunately though my g/box is well on its way to going BANG so when that does happen (doubt it will last too much longer) it will be off the road again for bigger front brakes and 8kg coilovers in the front. New clutch/flywheel as well as a new g/box to obviously lol

Also currently planning out a water spray set-up for between the radiator and intercooler, while the radiator is out ill be getting it flushed and recored if neccessary

After all this ill turn the boost up, its plenty quick enough on 10psi anyway.

had a productive day on the car today, starting with its first wash since Nov lol

Fitted the half cage, main loop is nice and snug with the B pillar so I'm happy with that and its painted black so doesnt stand out a great deal. The venetian does help hide it but it can still be seen from the back, ill keep it in for now....

Had to make a new rear parcel shelf to suit as well, came up pretty good.

Since fitting my 4 point harnesses and the looped bolts needed to do so i havnt been able to fit my fire ext in its holder as it fouled on the loops. So today i made up a spacer for the bracket to fit it up above the loops. fire ext fits back in its holder now:) its mounted on my tunnel behind the handbrake

Ive got pics but can't find my camera cable

Sounds like an Awesome day :( can't wait for pics of the half cage

Wasnt a bad one Ryan, didnt even mind the heat to much. It was alot of mucking around to get it in nicely, took the best part of the whole arvo. But its in and very neat so I'm happy.

Rewarded myself at the end of the day and went for a little drive up the freeway after dinner :y:

spent the arvo working on the car today

removed front grill

removed radiator

removed thermo fan

removed water pump

Dis-assembled water pump and cleaned

I had a leak from the water pump so ill get some new gaskets and wack it back on. Radiator is getting sent off to get flowed tested, will either get it unblocked or recored accordingly

Will be making a proper shroud for the thermo fan will the rad is out too.

Water spray set-up will be done as well while the radiator is out

Removed my drivers seats and working out mounts for the sparco fixed back seat i had in the shed so hopefully hav that mounted too before the car is running again.

I plan to hav this done by next weekend haha

EDIT: also getting a new braided line sorted for my oil feed to the turbo
