Chobis Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I saw this car at SCS last week and it's bloody awesome. Great job mate and a great list of mods. Sleeper indeed! Quote
benzo Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 This thing's so cool man. Was ace when Henry owned it, and you have made it into something even crazier. Such a sleeper too. be quite a weapon on the street once the rear end is sorted and it stops blowing axles/diffs haha. Cheers, Ben. Quote
Doogs Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Good job mate, any plans of taking it to the track when the diff is sorted ? Quote
benzo Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Adelaide's so cool we don't have a drag strip :lolcry: yew Quote
PMP020 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 fuk yeaaaaa!!! tight rig ryan. sweet ride son. cheers, scott Quote
tenyearguarantee Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 nice job mate, hope my 10 looks as good once its done Quote
Jono Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 love it, engine bay is a welcome change - very utilitarian! looks heaps better with the late model front end too. Quote
Tally Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Needs a bigger turbo and then it will be a monster not a sleeper lol Quote
13BT_KE20 Posted October 23, 2008 Author Report Posted October 23, 2008 cheers for all the comments guys Such a sleeper too. be quite a weapon on the street once the rear end is sorted and it stops blowing axles/diffs haha. Yeah the car is very quiet at idle and just cruising around which adds to the sleeper image as well. don't worry ben, ive told myself I'm only fixing the diff/axle once. When it breaks again ill be upgrading it. I havent forgotten about you either, ill still take you for a spin Good job mate, any plans of taking it to the track when the diff is sorted ? as soon as we get a drag strip mate ill be taking there for sure! love it, engine bay is a welcome change - very utilitarian! looks heaps better with the late model front end too. Thanks, I much prefer the late model front and thats how the car is gonna stay. The car looked great side by side with your old rig at SCS Needs a bigger turbo and then it will be a monster not a sleeper lol mate for now its definitely needs no more power, as it is it spins all the way through third by just rolling onto the throttle (no clutch kicking/dumping). You can sit at 60 in 3rd and just plant it and it will fry the tyres. Gotta love it when your mate has his own private road to do all this on :lolcry: Once the diff and brakes are sorted i will be slapping on my highflow turbo, 12AT injectors and probably an electronic boost controller and aiming for 200+rwkw Quote
Tally Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 the day will come and the hunger for more power will overcome you lol Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Awesome car mate, this thing would go like a shower of shit! can you put up some pics of the interior? mine is also black inside and i wanted to see how yours looks. Cheers, MArk m Quote
Doogs Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 I had heard rumours that you guys don't have a drag strip but was not sure, man that sux ! Does this mean there is a fair bit of illegal street racing ? Quote
madaz4 Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 love it, engine bay is a welcome change - very utilitarian! looks heaps better with the late model front end too. You old car was parked right next to it @ SCS..... They were fairly even off the line taking into account that Ryan didn't want to destroy anything on the way down.... Quote
