D1doony Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 can anyone give me any hints/clues about taking a ke70 wheel off to replace with aftermarket one. i have fair idea. and have tried past half an hour to no avail. anyone got step by step? Quote
toyota_ae71 Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 lol i had the same problem... well first you take out the little corolla sign/logo in the middle with a screwdriver, then undo the nut behind that but not completely then just reef the shit outta it until it comes lose then take nut off and steering wheel and presto! KE555k Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 Make sure you don't take the nut completely off! leave it on a bit to stop the wheel from flying off, seen way too many people smack themselves in the face from this, haha. Although it is kinda funny, it hurts. And it's gonna feel like it'll never come off, but it will, trust me. Quote
D1doony Posted October 19, 2008 Author Report Posted October 19, 2008 theres a black cover behind the corolla logo. do i smash it or does it pop off ? Quote
