ae71 csx Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 hay guys i have done a 4age conversion on my ae71. it had a 4ac in it to start off with, i was wondering because it was a 1.6 litre do i need a enginer's certificate. i do realize that the 4age makes a bit more power than the old 4ac. what do you guys think or have any of you done this before. any help would be grate cheers jed Quote

parrot Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 If you were in Victoria, the answer is definitely yes, you do need an engineers certification if it is to be legal with all the insurance issues that carries. I believe this is also the case in NSW, but check with your central registration authority. That does not mean your roadworthy guy, or the local RTA office. Or your girlfriends brothers mate.......
