fozz Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 hey guys i got a 4age in a e7 and my altenator is not charging i have no clue whats wrong it was working but now it stopped and my batterys completly dead and the batterys only two weeks old any help apreciated cheers Quote
Medicine_Man Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 Your alternator has a diode or two out I'd say. consdidering last time I looked at it the unit was charging, but there was no charge light coming on with ignition. Quote

KE30_KE35_KE55 Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 This may be a little to technical but you need to excite the alternator with a test light , checking the output Battery voltage with a Multimeter at the same time. Quote
