flat out Posted November 6, 2008 Author Report Posted November 6, 2008 ok then guys time for some info! engine is pulled down waiting on being dipped painted bored and re assembled, turbo and manifold have been painted and cured. engine is out and front end is bare, undercoated and rubbing it back as we speak, got one brake caliper (big one in pic) has been decreased and two be painted and rebuilt. dads talking about doing a rack and pinion conversion, i have some thoughts on that but i will start a new thread to discuss. so simon I'm alive and i have a missus :) brought her around to meet you but didn't wait around long enough haha Quote

So how long till she's back on the road again? oh btw, do you still have the cressy? Mate of mine bought one the same earlier in the week, very sentimental as it was his late grandfather's car 10+ years ago. Still bloody neat for it age and got it for $900. I gave him evil ideas about NA motors the other night, but either NA or turbo it will be getting a 2JZ conversion!!! :) Quote
flat out Posted November 7, 2008 Author Report Posted November 7, 2008 yeah mate still have the cressy, i want to MTEU? turbo it, I'm pretty sure the set up will bolt onto the engine, should be able to get the parts reall cheap aswell, just in the future, no real date set on finishing it, just doing it as i can, Dads pretty keen on getting it going so he is helping me abit Quote

flat out Posted January 9, 2009 Author Report Posted January 9, 2009 yes its a r32 rb20det T3 i figure it will flow allot more than the ct20, and for $50 who could say no, has minimal shaft play back and fourth, and the car it come from got a boost increase 2 months ago but they run a boost cut sound any better simon? I'm making a flange adapter thing off plans from google, headf@$k converting inch to mm :P also i thaught it might make it easyer for an upgrade Quote
