original Posted October 7, 2008 Author Report Posted October 7, 2008 ke70 K50. :) really? nice! hmm.. shame my t50 one wont fit :) any one got one in sydney for cheap? Quote
Taz_Rx Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 yep, ONLY the 5 spd from a ke70 has the "4 bolt wedge" mounting you need. All other k40/50 have the 1 bolt, and the wedge is 90o around the other way. Quote
original Posted October 7, 2008 Author Report Posted October 7, 2008 thanks a bundle dude now to find one :) :) Quote
beerhead Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Put up a WTB, lots of people on the forum swap out the KE70 gear for the AE71 stuff, has to be someone who kept theirs for a rainy day. Quote
love ke70 Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 custom they're easy and u can make sure it goes where u want it too http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c292/aro...nt=IMG_0047.jpg thats just 50 x 50 x 3mm mild steel angle drilled to the bolt holes on the chassis then a bit of angle across the bottom, can't remember size, with the holes drilled in the right spot, then just some braces welded to hold it all together. never let me down, but I'm sure it could be better, like everything on that car Quote
original Posted October 9, 2008 Author Report Posted October 9, 2008 hey thanks guys, Ive found one from a ke70 5speed k50. ill post up later if it doesnt fit. in regards to custom, I want it now, spend as little as possible, and when I do get pulled over which will happen, Id rather it look stock than stick out like dogs balls cheers Quote
