Xany Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 Negative as we are not actually a registered car club....sorry. :y: Quote
Bowler Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 (edited) You could always join toymods aswell - but doesn't having club reg limit you to only their official cruise days? Edited September 30, 2008 by Bowler Quote
Redwarf Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 A lot of clubs would be very hesitent to put a car like that on club reg. Most of the one's I know wouldn't. Quote
silverra23 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 ROLLLA as I mentioned in your thread on toymods, the Toyota Car Club of Australia (VIC) does club rego. I don't know the ins and outs of it to be able to ascertain whether your car would be appropriate, thats something you would have to talk to the people who coordinate these things in the club. I have been told they will happily do a club race car, so a certain amount of modification is clearly ok. That said the car can ONLY be used on events listed on the club calendar with club rego. If you are caught driving it at other times, the club loses its ability to give out club rego and everyone in the club loses their club rego too I believe. Hence why people are pretty cautious about what it can be used for. Club info is on the website www.tccav.org.au or come to our next meeting on Tuesday 14th October at 8pm at Bells Hotel in South Melbourne. Quote
ROLLLA Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 reddwarf ive read through the terms and conditions and i wouldnt be putting the club at risk. but silverra23 id prefer a club with more qtr mile and drift meets than hill climbs etc Quote
silverra23 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 (edited) probably should look for a hot rod club at that rate.. and then you will have to convince them to put the toyota cruises etc on their calendar..which may be a challenge :y: Edited October 1, 2008 by silverra23 Quote
TE278U Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 if you go on the vicroads website, you can find a list of all the car clubs that can supply you with a club permit. you don't necessarily need a maserati to join the maserati car club. go figure... find a club, research with the interweb, and you should be able to find a club that suits you to a tee. -dave Quote
philbey Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 thats what associate membership is all about! I was a member of the BMW club with my old Hachi. Quote
