stick your hand in behind the dash cluster, and unplug 2x rounds plugs and unclick the speedo drive.

You can get the cluster out a bit further to do this by unclipping the speedo cable in the engine bay and pushing it in towards the dash through the fire wall. The plugs should have enough slack on them.

Don't think it's really possible with the KE55 dash, as the clock is integral to the cluster. KE30 clusters had the clock seperate

i noticed that when i took my cluster out, the speedo cable clipped in but the cable did not go into hole because it bent itself. jus check that.

or somehow u could have bumped something in the speedo....

Just fiddle with it. Sometimes you might not put in on correctly. Assuming you don't have A/C, you should be able to slide your arm in from underneath and play with it while its in place. I know that when I first pulled my speedo out of my KE30 it didn't work correctly when back in, it took a few goes.

Tho how did you take it off?? I just pulled on off a car I'm wrecking and as I pulled the speedo forward so I can fit my hand in to disconnect it, the plastic tip from the cable popped off. Maybe just check that the end of the cable looks right.

ok works now just the pin dosent sit on 0 and sitting below and i am about 20ks slower on the speedo  think i just have to hold needle on 0 when i connect cable maybe??

The needles can actually slip on the shaft, remove the platics dome cover and see if you can't push it back up to 0. I've had to do this befor too.
