7 Days To Go Until Ep 1 Of Top Gear Australia

Hey Guys,

 

I'm a huge Top Gear fan, have seen every episode that has aired in the UK this year (I'm up to date! :sob: ), but CANNOT WAIT for the Top Gear Australia season to start IN 7 DAYS TIME.

 

I realise that there is a thread about this in the live feeds section, but I think such a monumentous occasion like this diserves another!! :o

 

Might even have a "top gear party" next week if some locals are intersted!!!???

Pending interst (and weather) I might set up a 10 foot wide projector screen and PA system in the backyard! :bash:

7:30PM AEST. I'm not going to get my hopes up because I don't think that it can be anywhere near as good as BBC Top Gear right off the bat.

from what ive seen a few yobbo's in some utes ripping it up in the out back...

 

i don't have my hopes up for much in the way of descent but meh, will see where it goes.

^^^ Or a very lame gimmick, a feeble attempt to replicate the humour of the BBC show.

I figure they're going to have to do something pretty epic in the first few episodes to get people hooked onto the idea that the aussie version can compete with the british version, I reserve judgment until I've watched the whole first season........ :dance:
