Corolla1 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 There are lots of people asking about these, but it seems there is mixed answers. Will XT130 Brakes fit in 13" rims?? Will XT130 Struts Bolt up at each end?? Can you still bolt up KE35 brakes and hub, if they wont fit in 13" rims?? Are the Steering Connections Different?? If so how are they different? and how can you get around this? Heres a pic of my car Cheers Jarrod. Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 If the XT130 are near same as RA40 then you "can" fit 13's.. but it depends on how "square" the inside of the rim is if that makes sense? Quote
SeptemberSquall Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) they don't bolt to standard ke30 steering arms you need xt130 or other ones of the same bolt spacing ae86 incl ae86 power steer arms work Edited September 15, 2008 by SeptemberSquall Quote
coln72 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Your 35 looks identical to my old one, right down to the rims. Only difference is the black bonnet :y: Sorry to hijack the thread Quote

SeptemberSquall Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 SS - is it true the AE86 power steering arms give more lock than standard xt130 arms or does that only work on an AE86? will give more lock and also quicker effective ratio i think it also changes the ackermann a bit can get them brand new through toyota if you are interested i will price them for you Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Can you still bolt up KE35 brakes and hub, if they wont fit in 13" rims?? This is a funny question, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the conversion? The answer is no though, the bearings are spaced much wider. From memory, using ra40 steering arms upsets the ackerman principle the least. I had a set of these rona struts a few years ago, from memory the only problem you might run into is the camber angle set on the struts, eg. the rona strut towers were closer together. nice ride :y: Quote

I am running out of time before the next race, but i will strongly consider putting these in at a later stage. Thanks to everyone for your help. feel free to PM me at any stage. Cheers Jarrod. Quote
