SportivoPSI Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 yeah i think we'll just leave the cars engine stuff alone now :bash: don't want the missus complaining of manifold cracks lol. No boosting.... just leave it now. Lowered and rims will be the final. I've had enough with tuning and spending money on cars lol! Just got the subie tuned tonight. Was leaning out under slight acceleration and causing a surge. Its fixed now hopefully. I'll see what its like on cold start tomorrow morning..... (surging got worse as the weather got cooler) Still manages to pump out 192kw at all fours  Quote
Karllos Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 (edited) Haha don't stress about the lift if my car wasnt leaking oil thru the bad driveshaft seal and i didnt break my exhaust hanger lol i would have taken mine. Also, if i do replace my clutch i will bo going to Toyota and getting the TRD Heavy duty, I'm sick of hearing stupid aftermarket good and bad stories. But i need suspension first  too many thing on the list atm. I love these cars and i don't think that they could easily handle more power at the wheels, id love to go more but really they are pretty damn poky as per different setups weve had so far. Lesley the IS200 sounds like a good idea, worse comes to worse you get the rolla fixed later but you still have a nice MANUAL car to drive in the mean time :bash: But honestly with the new turbo and manifold, just the turbo alone to my car made a massive! difference it feels totally different to your car as per today. don't understand if its tune or just simply age of cars or the fact that I'm used to driving mine, power delivery is made in totally different ways, having some turbo/manifold issues wont help tho :) 192atw is quite respectable, especially as you have all wheel drivetrain so that saps power. Oh and lesley the age of your engine wouldnt make a difference, mine is still the stock one from the info i have gathered and yours and mine sound alike so i think its down to the intake/Different compressor wheels in the turbos. The parts were done through Hella australia i bought all the leftovers from the project. I thought it was a pretty tidy unit yours looks pretty good Edited May 10, 2010 by Womble1972 Quote
