Gavclassic Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Most of you already know my little red KE 18 wagon, it did run a 7K efi engine but i've decided to go back to an original 3K. The 3K i'm using is the old engine out of my KE17 Sprinter. It was originally purchased 12 years ago as a low km Jap import motor, i removed and shaved the head and fitted a mild cam. When the head was removed i noticed the engine was very very clean a real low km Jap import motor, back when you could get them. Already got one quick 7K didn't need a second, just incase you were wondering why i decided to go back to the 3K. Quote
JiP Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 I know it must be difficult, but if the 7K needs a new home I could try and help you out :fuzz: Whatever the car has in it it will still look hot in my eyes Gav :fuzz: Quote
roladude Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 now all you need is attatch a hook to your roof so you can crane it on your truck :fuzz: sorry just had to say that the car is very smooth youve done very well Quote
PHATKE20S Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 I know it must be difficult, but if the 7K needs a new home I could try and help you out :fuzz: I'm sure it has already sold on ebay mate Whatever the car has in it it will still look hot in my eyes Gav :fuzz: That wagon is so hot it wouldn't even need to run Quote

Gavclassic Posted August 31, 2008 Author Report Posted August 31, 2008 how do you use the back seats with no rear doors? Its a wagon, you don't need to use the back seat! MMM! :fuzz: Quote
smeetsy1 Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 how do you use the back seats with no rear doors? the same way you do with a coupe! Quote
KEhendo Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 woh, ok. it's just that in my mind a wagon is meant to be more practical than a coupe. did ke18s come like this or is it a converted van? also i dig the wheels Gavclassic. :fuzz: Quote

philbey Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 Hey Gav, I was wondering what you did with this rocket - I spoke to you on the phone about 2 years ago when you were talking about selling it. I guess you didn't in the end! Nice engine though, that'll be good fun! Its a wagon, you don't need to use the back seat! MMM! :) I pulled the base of my back seat out so the backrest sits down nice and low! Quote
