Taz_Rx Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 hey leigh, dunno if I've said this already but it might be worth you chucking a PM to madrolla68 and ask him if he wants to buy the HDCB. He needs a K-T clutch and I don't know if he's got one yet. BTW, what did you pay for the HDCB? Quote

Thats why I was saying try and get used to it so you didn't waste your money. My HDCB was like $400 at near cost price!!!! In that case I don't know if Madrolla68 would want it as I thought it was new. Quote

Loving the 5spd, 110 on the highway she sits on about 2100rpm :y: Quote
ke20rolla Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Don't you mean 3,100rpm  if it sits at 2,100 then you have very low ratio's. :y: Quote
leigh Posted July 1, 2009 Author Report Posted July 1, 2009 well thats what my tacho says.......... unless thats wrong??? Quote
Taz_Rx Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Agree with Mark, 2100 sounds WAY too low. 100-110 in mines is around 3000-3500rpm Sure your speedo is correct? mines out. Think my T50 speedo sender is for a 4.11 diff and I have a 3.9. 100kmh is about 83kmh on my speedo. Last time I was at the drags I was crossing the line at 120kmh on the speedo and my time slips said 145kmh!!!! Quote

leigh Posted July 20, 2009 Author Report Posted July 20, 2009 (edited) Car is going along well! Been trying to get the k's up on her! :P Booked in for dyno tune on wednesday so fingers crossed she will be running sweet! Have also installed a full alarm and central locking system aswell......... since I'm not sure if someone tried to break into her! :) can't use the key on the drivers side door anymore! Once dyno tune is done I'm thinking i'll lower it another 1" all round so the tops of the tires are level with the guards and then some 14"s at some stage! Edited July 20, 2009 by leigh Quote
