crazywhiteboy Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 Hey guys, I bought Stephens Corolla about a week ago, and now it's giving a whole lot of trouble, it's coughing up black smoke, and the timings out, I'm not so worried about the timing, but the black smoke worries me a lot, I think black smoke means that the motor gets too much fuel, if that's the problem, what can I do about it? If anyone can give me any advice, I would appreciate it so much. Thanks Quinton Quote
RainWarriorDregs Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 yeah your right, black smoke usually means its running too rich. what type of engine is it? if its a carby just find the fuel mix screw and lean that sucker up Quote
