dreamin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Hi, i just got my first rolla, wanted one for ages. I love the ke30's. Mine is white with a 3k engine an a 4spd. The odometer says 55k. I dunno if that can be right :sob: It's gonna be my daily but i want it looking half decent so i was gonna paint it gloss black and lower it. I think i'm gonna take the rear leaves out, heat up the ends, roll them the other way and add an extra leaf. This sound right? And with the front i wanted to buy some lowered springs and shocks, anyone got any or know where i can get some? I want it LOW. I was also chasing a right front guard with chrome strip and a boot. Any help will be appreciated, cheers Quote
KE ping it real Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Firstly, welcome to the wonderful world of rollas, Be warned it will become an addiction :sob: And if your after parts you should start by putting a wanted to buy thread in that section Quote
Johno Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I think you can say that again about rollaclub being addictive.. lol Welcome to rollaclub, ke30's are a good car, bullet proof :sob: Whats your location? Here's a link that might be helpfull, there are a few cars for wrecking.. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showforum=93 Cheers, Johno  Quote
TE278U Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 hey there young pup... my ke38 wagon runs on chopped fronts (not recommended) and upside down leaves at the rear (again not reccomended.) you should be able to get results similiar by flipping the main leaf on the rear only so the eyes are upside down without heating and rerolling them. have a search throught the forums for a wealth of knowledge, and read as many members rides pages that are about ke30's to see what other people have done. above all, have fun, safely. -dave Quote

SLO-030 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 hey mate and welcome to rolla club. first bit of advice, I work at a springmakers and ive learnt that heating the spring steel can make it more prone to breaking and thats something you don't want in your suspension. flipping the leaves is the easiest way and the cheapest :sob:. CHEERS Ryan Quote
