Falken_KE30 Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 hey all, Just curious as to how many ground wires you all run? Obviously the one from - terminal to chassis, and then i know i got one from block to chassis. Been reading and have found 1 or 2 more ground wires don't hurt, and will help with motor cranking over, idle smoother, brighter lights ect. anyone shed some light on this? Quote
trav_555 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 (edited) id say it would help, but you might as well just upgrade all your wires so that there a wider diameter, dosent seem owrth it to me but more elctrons more powa Travis edit: also better connection to where the ground wire is like bare metal completely, and yeah you get the point. cuzzo Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Yep bare metal is the key along with a decent sized wire. Why not find the thickest wire you can find. Get some appropriate sized bolt down lugs for the massive wire. create two leads. One from the battery to the body or engine. and one from the engine to the body. Mightn make a difference but it will be worth it in the long run never having earthing issues ever again. Quote
