Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 That's f@$ken epic, love it :) Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Put a bit more boost and gas into this thing tonight, here is the resulting dyno graph. Pretty freaking stoked! :) Holy S**t!!!! oke020 Posted December 19, 2009 Author Report Posted December 19, 2009 Its a common misconception with regards to the weight of this car, try 1215kg with me in it, wet, race ready. Far far from factory weight. I will be attempting run it on this power on the 2nd of january, not quite sure what will happen but it ran 168mph with 300 less rwhp :) Quote
curly Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 excellent effort, almost at the stage of taking a bucket with you, i'm told you know my son Daniel OOH808 Quote
oke020 Posted December 19, 2009 Author Report Posted December 19, 2009 Yep i know daniel. Hey i just realised this also means i smashed my 1hp:1kg objective :) Quote

curly Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Yep i know daniel. Hey i just realised this also means i smashed my 1hp:1kg objective :) you make nice cars but can't add up 1023hp 1200kg is not 1 to 1 ? Quote
love ke70 Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 lol, i was thinking the same thing curly and thats just awesome power mate, will you def be out there 2nd of jan? i think its about time i came and had a look at this beasty run :) Quote
Redwarf Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Dear. God. This is the first time I've looked in here for a (long) while, and I'm gob smacked. A testament to time, detail and skill. Kudos. R Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 (edited) you make nice cars but can't add up 1023hp 1200kg is not 1 to 1 ? Ahhh maybe he weighs 177kg?? :) Edit: also if you measured at the fly it would probably be over 1:1 Edited December 19, 2009 by 67Rolla-Ken Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Are you going to be running a wheelie bar for your next outing?? Quote
beerhead Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Holy crap - those figures are getting impressive. Look at those AFR's - looks like its still a fairly safe tune too - there's still more power hiding there! Found any giant waste gates to help get this off the line yet? The other thing I was thinking about for this car the was launch control, possibly without even dropping the boost down with closed loop timing retard it won't wheel spin as badly off the line. Quote
oke020 Posted December 21, 2009 Author Report Posted December 21, 2009 to make 1025 at the wheels through a powerglide and 6200rpm convertor you'll be needing over 1300 engine hp, which is well and truely over my goal of 1hp:1kg. can't get wheelie bars under the car as the radiator is back there, it would help but not in the spirit of the car. beerhead i am with you, have be pondering various ways of getting the thing off the line. Still have no idea. Quote
