ke20rolla Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 I know that these are not dellorto's but the setup should be similiar Quote
Trent-KE30 Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Posted August 17, 2008 Wow thanks KE20 rolla thats exactly what I needed! Could you get on of the back carby linkage area? Thanks Quote
Trent-KE30 Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Posted August 17, 2008 That's how far I've got, I just need some pics of the back linkage, as i think there was some bits missing out my linkage kit as it was already open when i got it  Cheers Trentuss Quote
Redwarf Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 My two carbies link together in the middle, therefore requiring only one shaft to operate the two carbs. I take a piccie shortly. Both my webers and the Dellorto set up I had did this. Actually, all three off my Weber set ups are like this. Back shortly. Quote
Trent-KE30 Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Posted August 17, 2008 Oh yeah I know what you mean R, Did you use a redline linkage kit? part number 42-2562? Thanks mate Quote
Redwarf Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 Oh yeah I know what you mean R, Did you use a redline linkage kit? part number 42-2562? Thanks mate Nope, we threw it together from a hundred yards with what was lying around the workshop. This set is a pair of Webers, but the Dellortos I had were the same. As you can see, single rail with a single pushrod. View from underneath. Two fittings on each carb work like a tongue and groove arrangement. Slight scallop to the manifold is required for this arrangement. You can see it better here on a spare I have.... Ditto. Hope this helps...... Quote
Trent-KE30 Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Posted August 17, 2008 Gee thanks all for the pics! I got it all done, now just the throttle cable bit. KE20Rolla Could you get some pics specifically of your throttle cable arrangement?, I am trying to adapt the original kinda design off the STD downdraft carb. thanks guys! Quote
ke20rolla Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 here is a pic of the accelerator linkage Quote
philbey Posted August 24, 2008 Report Posted August 24, 2008 damn, that sucks not having the linkages facing each other, make it just that shade more difficult to balance.... Quote
