greenmac80 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 i'm thinking $150 thats sandblasted and powdercoated. these mounts will be for 20v though. can't put them quite as close to the firewall as the 16v. i should be finishig off the design this wkend. then by the end of the week i should have them painted. will post pics of finished product. mine are 5mm steel but i can getup to 10mm. greenmac80 Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 (edited) truewhat is the net length difference? not sure umm i'd say approx 40mm. will measure it tomorrow. then i'll measure the distance from the firewall. just made my wedge sections so i'll have to get my hands on an arch welder to tack em in. will keep updates Edited August 11, 2008 by blackrolla80 Quote
KE ping it real Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 I'm Fully keen for a set of these What model KE are you making them for? I have a 35, Is there any way they can be made so that they make the 16v sit a little further back? Cheers - Andrew  Quote
Rob74coupe Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 any chance theyll fit in a ke20? are the engine mounts different for a ke30 and ke20 or just the crossmember? i'd be pretty interested... Quote
greenmac80 Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 if the crossmember is the same then they'll fit the only thing is how much closer is the firewall? if at all? Quote
