my windscreen wipers stopped working today :) anyone know what might be wrong?

also the blue highbeam light on the dash sometimes flicks on for a second but never stays on..

the gear selector light didnt come on either but there was enough current to switch a relay so i just did that instead...

anyone have a ke20 wiring diagram so i know how to wire a relay onto the highbeam light thing and fix the wipers??

is more stuff gonna keep stuffing up?

is my cars wiring rooted???

cheers,

rob

the early toyota headlight system is a weird setup.

the have a relay in the engine bay above the drivers headlight. Its a 3 wire relay.

they work by supplying power via the relay to the headlights then the dipper switch supplies the earth to change between lo and hi beam.

hmm.. the hi and lo beams work fine.. it's just the blue light on the dashboard that comes on when hi beams are on.. it's flicks on for a split second sometimes...

cheers,
