ps, edit your pics in paint or something. right click it in your browser. click edit, then resize it down by a percentage so it becomes about 100kb. then you should be able to upload about ten pics in one.

this one was reduced to 40% of original, but is still heaps big enough.

hope this helps.

WoW, so the back doors got strap handles while the front got real door handles. And doesn't look like you have a rear window demister, so whats the switch for? :bash:

Aslo where are ya from??

You always pic up on the weirdest things John, but shows your general attention to detail. :bash:

In regards to the rear handles, with my wagon you have to open both back doors to get the rear seat right down, or it fouls on them on like a 30* angle. However.....mine is a later wagon (79-80 IIRC), so don't exactly see how it could be a verision.

Doesn't appear to be extra holes in the door trim, so somebody hasn't retro-fitted them. Maybe just a trim option!? :y:

yeah strap back door handles. came factory like this. has two moutning holes under the door card so i guess they just decided to use that strap style ones? i really can't work it out but they have been tho only ones ever on the car. yeah no back demister (maybe a nz new thing??) has no back demister switch... its just blank. am from new zealand.

Yeah both my KE36's have the mounting points under the trim for both types of handles. I'd like to see if the back seat can be dropped down without having to open the back doors with the strap handles.

Na yours wouldn't be the only one without a rear demister. KE36's usually were the budget models. You had to pay extra for items like radio, demister, cig lighter, clock and I assume the non strap handles.

OMG!!!!!

You have a rear wiper!! I thought it was the demister!! Are they common?? Can you find any more?? :bash: I was thinking about modding one onto my wags but I'd defiantly need that switch.

oh ok must have just been what the first owner decided to have. yeah rear wiper.... was originally black but paint has come off a bit and polishes up real nice so ill get the rest of the paint off and polish it up maybe. or then again migt just get it painted black again... Ok i have never really taken much notice of the rear wipers on the ke36s over here but can have a look for a wiper switch if you want? there is one at a wreckers back home i could look at if you want?
