Early AE82 (the nicer looking front) has short parkers, late AE82 has long parkers (more similar to AE86 shape). Gaurds are different, late model front is fail, especially the grille that's the ugliest part.

Ae71 still has straight/good CSX parts and panels, the interior has veleuor trim covered by two sets of covers, it still has the CSX LH mirror, boot release and fuel popper. But the body is rusty under the fresh paint. 4A Engine cross member and mounts are still in the car, but I have purchased all the manual running gear.

I'm pretty useless at picking which KE 'rolla's which, but there is a blue example sitting in Asleigh St Auto Wreckers on Ashely St in Braybrook, right next to a KE70. More AE92's than you can shake a baby at and unfortunately most of the 82's are sedans :-( There was a white 82 TC hatch minus engine and box, but thats now in my shed beuing stripped and sprayed :-)

Not much happening at Centre Rd. The KE30, KE35 & KE55 that have been there for ages still there.

Only new thing of interest was a 4 door RT40.

Parrot, were there any ke70 or ae71 corollas there? I'm chasing the mudflaps for the ae71 but have no luck so far. Also there is a yellow e7 at kylsyth pick a part, anyone seen it yet?

Pic of mudflaps in question. The "corolla" one on the white ke70.

Was the blue ke70 wagon gone?? Because it had mud flaps. i was going to grab them to cover my rear tyres abit :P

I can't recall if they had "toyota" or "corolla" printed on them, they were in good nick though, that's why i was considering getting them.

There goes another pickies wrecker......

I got chatting to a guy in the queue at Centre Rd on Sunday, and he said that he went to an auction at Pick Pay n Go. Essentially they auctioned off everything there. I was only there about 2 weeks before they shut, so it must have all happened pretty damn fast.

Ohh yeah, it shut awhile ago now. maybe 2mths :y: was devastated. it was my local and the girl there gave me stuff so cheap ;)

Then i discovered Centre rd :P Now that's where it's at! :P

^ got my xt130 complete struts (brakes, LCA's etc) for 60bucks the pair. didnt see any xt130 at centre rd wreckers today though.

Also no E7#'s at centre rd atm :jamie: but the two old ke55 2doors and a 4 door ke30?/55? (i can't tell the difference) are there. plenty of ae82 etc, (no 4ages from what i could see). pretty disappointed with my wreckers run today :blinks:

went down to centre road today and not much has changed. however in the nissan isle there is a AE9somehting seca with a 4ag. from my limited knowledge of FWD rollas this could be a 100kw smallport (and therefore desirable?). looks to be untouched apart from one missing plug wire. i forgot to check the kms on it.
