Just need a little help

Plug 2 is Fuel Solinoid Obviously. But where does it plug into?

Plug 1 is male like the fuel one

and plug 4 is like a twin bullet female plug.

what do each of these do and where they go?

Also in circle 3, the is a nut on the alternator, what comes of that? i got the 3 pin plug in (external regulated alternator btw)

i guess it goes to battery somehow to charge it?

any help be great, ive searched, looked at pics. and it seems I'm missing some wiring??

:)

edit, Forgot pic :hmm:

OK I can help you here as I recently did a 7K conversion in my KE30, so I had to get intimate with the wiring. :S

Plug 4 is (surprisingly) what plugs into the fuel solenoid (Plug 2), it feeds it 12VDC with the ignition on. So that clears up those two.

The nut on the alternator should be your B+ pole, this should have a thick gauge wire connected to it using a round lug (make sure the insulator ring is present on the B+ pole, the other end should be connected to your positive (+ve) battery terminal.

The green plug (plug 1) connects to your starter loom (about 4 wires), It should have a matching green plug it connect with. If not, raid a KE30 at the wreckers for the whole starter loom. I believe it's for the starter coil.

ahhh thanks for that buddy!!!

seems cause the loom i got is from early 30, and the 4k i got is from a 55, the fuel solenoid plug on carby is a clip plug thingy, and i see on the 3k carby i got in shed its a bullet plugs, fits perfect in plug 4.

thanks again mate!

PS, you got a pic of the starter loom setup? I'm a bit lost on that
