My clutch master cylinder is dumping its contents onto my left foot and i've noticed the clutch master cylinder off other toyotas look similar to an AE86 one. Is it possible to one of these instead of an AE86 one?

You can also use some old school celica parts...it requires a little fabrication but its do-able. I'm not 100% sure which models are compatable...i think the ra23 is but i'd have to clarify

the ae86 cylinders are well known for their tendancy to leak...a few people i know with gze & gte have gone down the custom track ie:cusco

twinky ones should work also...can't see there being much of a difference

i'll see what reliable info i can dig up for you

toyota actually used the same master cylinder on a lot of different models....its fairly common to come across...

hrmm, i'll see if i can locate a part number....may be useful

i can't locate any part numbers....best i could come up with is this

http://www.yankeetoys.org/docs.htm

came through on toymods start of this year...its a european parts catalogue...doesnt have any JDM part numbers but there is some info in there thats prolly handy...the first 6-7 part numbers are apparently universal

2 files...500mb each...i havent actually seen it as theres no way i can get it through dialup but if someone wanted to d/l and have a look at it, perhaps pilfer a few part numbers for the tech section
