Teddy Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Considering the amount of people that have asked me, "why do you not lock the differential in your car to do *hectic 1337-dr1ft* ?" Here is the answer. I don't need to :D Click Here __ Hahah, Alot of fun  Quote
SLO83 Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 i wouldn't lock my diff anyway. I would do the proper thing and go LSD Quote
Gavclassic Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 If locking the diff was the right way to go why do we have LSD's!!!!!!? :D Quote
Des Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 People are cheap, Simple as that. There are exceptions though, Like drag racing etc but there is no exception on the street. Quote

Doogs Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 KE70.............. the watersport machine ! :D Awesome fun. Thats the only way my mate can get his '59 Hillman Minx sideways. I now owe him a 6 pack because he could 180 it. (it was in the wet) Quote
hilton Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 i fyou want to lock your diff. then do it if you don't. go pay lots for an lsd that will do the same things you would expect from a locker. lockers are where its at. Quote
irokin Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 lockers are where its at. I suspect these are the words of someone who's never tried a GOOD LSD. Quote
philbey Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Or understeered his car into an armco as he negotiates a run of the mill, trip to work corner. Quote

love ke70 Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 lol, ive seen a few locked cars doing mountain runs...and people say a 1g ke70 will understeer, have a look at anything locked, it plows straight ahead til it hits a bump and then jumps sideways... and in the wet, lockers get very hairy. the LSD in my rolla is very tight, and will kick sideways at the drop of a hat, but watching a locked car do the same corners i did, the difference is very obvious Quote
7shades Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 This one time, in high school, I filled someone's locker with shaving cream. Quote
Doogs Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 This one time, in high school, I filled someone's locker with shaving cream. Lol. A decent LSD is much better suited to street driving. They will lock up when need be but not chirp around every damn corner like a locked one would. Quote
benzo Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Mmm :D Don't get me wrong a good LSD is 1000x better than a locker, but you would expect it to be when a LSD is $1000+ and a locker is nearly free! And I would much prefer a locker than an open wheeler. Cheers, Ben. Quote
