New member needs help. I am in the process of fitting 2tg head to 2t block and I want to know the best way to block off the oil holes in the unused cam bearings. I have been told to just rotate the bearings but it will be an expensive lesson if it fails. Cheers Paul.

it just the way its done.

 

you could make a ring exactly like the bearing (id/od/width) with no hole if you like and press it in.

but most people accept the fact that no ones going to bump into the unused rotated cam bearings by

mistake and let the holes line up letting oil through.
