Budowski Posted June 29, 2008 Author Report Posted June 29, 2008 Thankyou Well many years ago i once cruised this beast but i have another project and no shed so i may be in the maket to sell. Ive had plenty of intrest but ive been the one not budging until now. I have 2x 3k engines in peices 1 with new pistons and 1 recon head. Also carby's radaitors and a ke20 RHF door and numerous lights mirrors ect. Its all just sitting as is my KE25. What should i do, a few friends have told me i may regret it just like when my friend sold his RX3 in 1997 and the guy wrote it off. Quote
Raven Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 Keep it, put it in storage and once you have a shed, work on a restoration. You will definitely regret selling it, thats for sure, as the 25's arent that common (yet I own two lol). I regret selling my KE36 Panel Van really, but in the end, I didnt want a rattly car as my daily. Quote

Budowski Posted July 2, 2008 Author Report Posted July 2, 2008 (edited) Buying the car in the 1st place was inspired by a guy in america called tom carter, he has a website about corollas and other things but it was his silver SR5 that did it for me. http://www.bigflea.com/corolla/ might even see Raven's green ke25 there. Budowski Posted July 3, 2008 Author Report Posted July 3, 2008 Until it gets wrapped around a pole ;) Should've sold your AE71's and done up something with character ;) Yeh i would have said the same thing a few years back but the guy who may be buying it has a steady head on his shoulders and is over the age of 35 and has just finished restoring a FJ45 short wheel base landcruiser and has been trying to find a KE25 for a long time. No offense to you guys who do have good intentions but if you sat down and worked out where you want to be in 5 years times and where the KE25 fits into that then there is your answer. The problem ive has so far is that 70% of the people who have approched me about my car are still in their teens and are looking for somthing not only cheap but ready to cruise. Which says to me they arent really interested in keeping this car restoring it and passing it on to their children when they die. Plus the AE71's are planned to be made into a track race car and i can't have the best of both worlds. Quote
Budowski Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 gone for sure then? :) I'm holding it for him but if he can't come up with the cash and i don't build a shed in that time, i will be selling Quote
