Falken_KE30 Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 Sorry had too, But have a search, youll find there was a few recent topics about this, Cheers and welcome ;) :lolcry: Quote
snot35 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 It's probably a little on the large side, but it should do OK. People seem to get away with 32/36 webers, so why not! I think you can choke it down to 34mm, you wouldn't want to go larger than this unless it's truly a race motor. I'd also look into porting unless you've already got a big port head or similar. If you're putting it on say a 3K head with the tiny ports (25mm) it'd probably be a bit of a dog. Quote
Doogs Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 People have run 40s before, I think a 45 is a bit big. (Unless you are needing to supply a great deal more fuel than most 4ks require.) Quote
KE ping it real Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 I have twin 40's on a 4k and once i got them tuned and jetted properly it ran like a champ So a single 45 should be ok as long as you do the cam and extractors and possibly some headwork aswell should run sweet - Just remember to get it jetted properly or you'll have to clean your plugs just about everytime you drive it :lolcry: Quote
