I drew up the strut top brackets and had 2 sets cut for 50 bucks. (Not for a rolla)

12 bucks for 2 tie rod ends, 1 left handed threaded. We welded plugs into the end of a steel tube and drilled and tapped them. I still have the M12 LH Tap. Then you just stick a locknut on and its all go.

thanks sounds good, was thinking along that line earlier today. Am just a little afraid about drawing the strut tops. guess ill havev to give it a shot and see how it goes. what material template did u use

I'm making my own at the moment out of alloy for my KE70.

I made a template out of cardboard transfered that onto the sheet of alloy and cut it out with a jig saw, to easy :lolcry:

I'm going to make it solid for now and convert it to an adjustable type later on with a turn buckle in the center of it.

These are the brackets so far,

Yeah, I only used the alloy because it was free and it's a fairly heavy gauge. I'll probably make a better one from stainless if I can find some at work.

Watch the caps lock mate.

You could get it laser cut, water cut, plasma cut, wire cut etc. If you're smart you might even be able to avoid getting it welded if you're fabricator has a fancy v brake.
