Reverse Light Issues

Hey, I wonder if anyone can help me... The reverse lights of my Automatic ke55 only come on when the gear shift lever is in neutural. Can anyone help?

not really familiar with KE55 autos, But would hazzard a guess that it may be to do with the adjustment of the switch that controls it. Most autos run an inhibitor switch that may have some form of adjustment or a switch on the shifter unit itself..

Theres a switch at the shift lever. Take the console out, and at the base of the lever ther will be two switches, one for the starter lock out, and the other will be the reverse light switch.

 

Have a play with it untill it turns on at the right time. ie, mite have to move it forword or back.
