I'm going to assume that your 30 diff was from an update 30 as its the same as a KE55 diff.

You should have given it a coat of paint before you stuck it on. I've driven behind a mate thats had his whole undercarriage freshened up and you can really notice a painted diff. :)

Does need to be a bit louder.

I was told by my exhaust shop that once the muffler gets a bit of carbon in it, it will deepen a bit. Or so I'm told.

it is loud enough for me. i don't need to be attracting the wrong kind of attention by something stupid such as a too loud exhaust, i like how it sounds, has a nice rumble. and once it hits like 3.5thou revs she is definately not quiet :)

I just guess I'm used to mine. Before i flanged it and it was blowin out the extractors it was loud enough for my ol man to hear the ol 30, 2km away in the suburbs.

so who knows where to get that moulded carpet from in Adelaide, with all the holes aready cut, knoxx or something rings a bell but i haven't a clue!

to my knowledge, none of the moulded carpets have the holes cut, its something you have to do yourself ;), i did my last car and i swore i would pay someone to do it the next time i change my carpet in a car

below is the place i used, it was about $180 and they had a large choice of colours/style of carpet as well
