i have now got a new rear bumper, cleaned it up a little and put it on. still gotta polish it thou. a little rust on the drivers side corner, but was thinkin maybe i can get just that corner piece if need-be from somewhere. (3 piece bumper)

ok so when i got my new rear bar i also managed to pick up a dash fascia, less molested than the normal. with this i was left with what i could do with it. i could do guages in it with the help of black rolla, and I'm sure most of you have seen his work, but i thought maybe i should try something different.

 

i was thinking what if i have it fibreglassed flat with murd 55 kind of engraved into it, or a piece of perspex with LED's lighing up the text and then have my gauges converted to blue led's also to match, i tohught that it would be a pretty cool idea but i thought i would post to get other peoples opinions on what i could fill the hole with, as thats basically what I'm going for, to simply fill the hole.

The guages sound like there gonna look flashy.

I think i have missed somthing though...Why do you need a facer plate? Where is you sterio face, I am sure on the previos page it was in the dash.

That is a KE55 backing plate. Its from a KE38 pov spec wagon. Not everyone got the privileged to listen to a radio or defog their rear windows. Panelvans also didn't get them.

Keep up the pics. Please don't molest the insides of your car with LED's and brittle plasticy hektyk spec addons that actually make your car look trashy and more stealable. OLDSKOOL IS COOL!

spend money on better stuff like alarms, keyless entry etc. the REAL impressive stuff :jamie:

Time and money is well spent is on an engine conversion :dance: (one that involves lots of work, not just a bolt-on)

It'd be a great experience for anyone who loves their cars and wants to learn more about them.

 

The body, interior, sound system etc. is basically done on your car, Murd, so I rekon this is the only thing left to do. :)

Make a poll to see who agrees! You might as well make the only option in it "yes" :P
