Murd 55 Posted December 24, 2008 Author Report Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) so looks as if i shall be grabbing some extractors of raven, going to the shop to get a 2inch sports system (resonator and sports muffler + zorst tip) and get them to also put the extractors in. coming to a total of around $800-$850, and expecting to be doing it early Janurary, first things first is organising the extractors from mick =] Edited December 24, 2008 by Murd 55 Quote

Fitting of the extractors will also require the standard inlet manifold to have a plate made and bolted over the exhaust to inlet 3 bolt joint. I could very well help with fitting of the extractors once they come in, then you just need to drive it to an exhaust shop straight outta the extractors and get the rest of the exhaust system fitted up which shouldnt be any more than $250. That joint isnt open to the inside of the inlet manifold, just has some fins for the heat tranfer. Otherwis you'd have fuel in your exhaust and it wouldnt run. Quote

KJ's Rollas Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 Book your car into the exhaust shop and when you know what day they can do it, let me know and we'll organise to get your extractors fitted at Mates Rates the day before hand, so your not driving round with a half finished exhaust for too long! It's exciting to see how it all turns out! KJ :-) Quote
Budowski Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 850! wow is it going to be mandrel bent stainless ? Quote
SLO-030 Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 850! wow is it going to be mandrel bent stainless ? 300 for extractors. 70 for fitting and temp welding leaves $480 on a 2" system. Still 200 more than i got quoted for pretty much the same in 2 1/4" :) Quote
