PatW Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Really sorry to hear about that. I certainly hope you will recover your car ASAP. Quote
SoulSearcher Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 will keep an eye out, I"ll be doing a heap of driving this weekend... good luck, I hope you get it back soon (and in one piece). Quote
PTK Posted June 8, 2008 Author Report Posted June 8, 2008 I had someone call me up letting me know that he saw it in the Oakden area. Cheers mate. Quote
Raven Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Will also keep my eyes peeled as I'll be out North tomorrow after lunch. Hope you get it back in one piece champ. Quote
PTK Posted June 11, 2008 Author Report Posted June 11, 2008 Howdy all... The car has been recovered, but it has been torched... If anyone has any information regarding who did it, let me know. I will personally see that justice is served.... Quote
Trev Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Not good news at all mate, Did you get it insured at all? Quote
PTK Posted June 11, 2008 Author Report Posted June 11, 2008 Full comp insurance. Just waiting for the paperwork. Quote
Trev Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Well atleast you are getting something for it, I can't stand why people steal a car to just burn it, If they really wanna know what they go like then they should go test drive them or if they are juviniles then stay the f@$k away from cars. PTK Posted June 11, 2008 Author Report Posted June 11, 2008 Sorry to show you this guys and gals, but let's all use my stupidity as a reminder why car security is so important. I went to see the car tonight, this is what I found... The only reason this damaged happened was because the Fire Department disconnected the battery. Quote
SoulSearcher Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 oh dude, that's heart breaking I hope that they can get the people who did this...where was it found? thank goodness you had insurance and you can recover financially from your loss.... on the up-side, are you going to get another one? Lesley :lolcry: Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 (edited) What Lesley said, absolutely heart breaking... I know how attached I am to my cars, even my Avalon that I've only had for 3 days. It's painful to see someones pride and joy reduced to that. Edited June 11, 2008 by Dunadan Quote
Doogs Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Damn man, I really feel for you :lolcry: Thank god you had it insured, mines only gonna be third party  then again, mine aint worth anywhere near as much... Hope your claims go through fine. Quote
freakmotor Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Should buff out...............no. Sorry, it's no joking matter. When my yellow ke20 was stolen, it took two years for the little pheonix to rise due to fire damage, and even now my once almost totally rust free rarity has way more cancer, so I feel at least something like your pain. Hope that some lowlife's idiocy dosen't take the sparkle off your love for all things fast. Don't let the turkeys stop you flying like an eagle! Quote
Raven Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Buy the wreck and part out what you can from it that isnt damaged. Doors, front headlights, engine etc. Quote
