zilli Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Hey all, The immaculate dash on my KE70 has started developing a bubble on the passenger side where it creasing into the pad... the old owner has it garages all its life since new, i have to leave it on the street unfortuntealy... i do put a widnow shade in when its outside to stop the sun from damaging it... but the bubbles are still coming up... does anyone have any ideas on how to stop it from spreading, and pushing it back down? JiP Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Just find yourself a nice replacement or send yours away for restoring. I know for sure there is a place in Brisbane that restores dashes. Thats where i get mine done. Quote
sammo[RL] Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Solar care and Armor all. And LOTS of it! Quote
Raven Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 The moment you put on anything like Armor All, you have to keep on applying it or the dash dries out and cracks. Not good at all. Get a dash mat for your car instead. Quote
zilli Posted June 7, 2008 Author Report Posted June 7, 2008 that makes sense, because when i first got it i put some vynil restorer on it, but that was about 3 months ago and i havent reapplied... so you reckon reapply it yeh? Quote
Raven Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Well, its not going to stop the bubbles now, but it can prolong the dash from cracking for a little while, so yeah, reapply it, but get a vinyl conditioner, not Armor All protectant. :D Quote
