4ac Starter Motor (urgent)

Hi guys, just completing the manual conversion on the ae71 and realised the starter wont bolt up :dance: . Is this right or am i doing it wrong? how much difference is there between manual and auto ones?

On a similar note - is the RWD 4AGE starter motor interchangeable with the 4AC (AE71) starter motor? Or any other starter motor?

the 2t and 3t ones work for the 4ac, but the 4ac hit the exhaut on the 3t.

 

if you swap the tops over you can go either way.

all the 4a starters can be swapped proving they don't hit the extractors
