ke30dude Posted June 9, 2008 Author Report Posted June 9, 2008 Looks like we are back on, should be going to pick it up not this weekend but the next. Quote
calaissix Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 I wish it was that simple if I had of got it, unfortunately I am not cashed up and live in the middle of nowhere so getting a panel beater is hard as is let alone for weekend work. Cheers. if you have the tools you can do it yourself if your keen, but it is hard without the tools, the rest is just practise.best of luck ive just about finished that part of mt rt142 that looked a lot like that, but i have to do the whole car .if you fix one dent then you got to do them all. ke30dude Posted June 11, 2008 Author Report Posted June 11, 2008 Well I will be taking this on myself, going to go get the car next week. I have a friend who is a fabricator that has played with panel work before to help me. Cheers everyone Quote
ke30dude Posted June 23, 2008 Author Report Posted June 23, 2008 Well I have the car here at home for the price I wanted it at, I gave the panels a shot myself earliewr and they came up ok, will look half good with the giner details fixed with some bog.. The dent above the arch was easy it more or less popped back out leaving a tiny dent to fill. Taillight area is pretty good now, wont be perfect but good enough for me. Around the end of the bumper popped out with one or two decent wacks. Apare from this I have a few shopping trolley dents, a big dent in the RH sill and minor rustto attend to. Quote
