Mango Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Posted March 2, 2009 Hi all I haven’t been on here for a while due to an overseas holiday… tooooo long.. I have narrowed down my choice of colours to gunmetal, orange, matt black or sky blue… not narrowed but better than the 30 colours I was trying to choose from. Now with the motor…. I have a few options. 5ke turbo or supercharged. 7ke turbo or supercharged. Warm 2tg with possibility of supercharging later on… 2/3tg extractors and tin carb obviously I know theres the 4ag options. I have had a look at an sr20de option too but these will be expensive…. Unless someone has a kit to sell .... I'm not after a dyno queen but would likesome torque….. Tell me your thoughts. And preferably experiences. Quote
Jason KE30 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Go with the sky blue i reckon... I don't think I've seen another ke25 in sky blue. Would look pretty cool i reckon.. Quote
13BT_KE20 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 gunmetal grey 7KE turbo or superchager Quote
Tally Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 leave it bamboo... thats what I'm doing on mine... Quote
Mango Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Posted March 2, 2009 Tally.... you and your bamboo  other opinions?? Quote
drc_ke20 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) go Orange so that you have that original mango look or what about current mazda 6 red?? its nice  Edited March 2, 2009 by drc_ke20 Quote
Mango Posted March 3, 2009 Author Report Posted March 3, 2009 mazda red is nice.... I'm a bit over red though... especially as they still are proned to fade quicker than other colours... mazda have a teal colour also which is pretty sweet and their arctic white is awsome Quote
seabiscuit Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Warwick Yellow would look really nice I think. Or even a nice soft blue colour. For your motor, definitely a 2t/3t twin carb setup. Oldschool motors are a must for oldschool cars. They just sound a hell of a lot cooler, are so much easier to maintain and you can build it like lego. Good luck with the project and get lots more pics up now that you've got it home! Quote
Mango Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 well ladies and gentlemen i thought it was time to pull out the finger and do something with the rolla. it is currently in for its initial Road worthy check so fingers crossed. then i have a set of 15's i have a very close eye on which will probably be the first mod and then a set of r31 GTS2 skyline buckets will be installed. Tally i think i will leave it the poo colour for now as its growning on me..... be back with an update soon Ian Quote
Taz_Rx Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 5ke TURBO for the top-end 7ke SC for the torque :rolla: If you like torque then: 7k...... tick, stock cam.......tick, SC...... tick. Hell even if you just go for a "Rolla_boy style" draw through SC setup on a 7k then I'm sure you'll love the bottom end. Quote
Mango Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 choices choices :rolla: can't wait to find out how the R/W check went Quote
