Don't know if this is going to be relevant here so I will post it and you can all let me know.

On the weekend I rejetted my carbs on my motorbike and they needed to be sync'ed afterwards. Thanks to the magic of the internet I was able to find a site that told me how to make a homemade manometer (to my surprise it doesn't measure manliness) that measures the vacuum between each carb. Was a bit fiddly but once you got the hang of it really easy. Also saved buying a carb sync tool. All up cost $5 to rig the thing up. Anyway I thought i would post up the link used in case anyone here running twin carbs on their cars would need to do the same thing.

I used the two bottle method. Make sure you use bottles made from glass as plastic ones just collapse under the pressure

hope thats useful

Cool, I was going to make one myself as well. Its basic principles really.

But, a mate at work has a Carbmate. Incidentally, it wouldnt be too hard to make your own with a 5 Volt pressure transducer or two and a multimeter.

Looks like a cheap and easy way to get the job done. I was thinking about using a hot wire AFM connected to a multimeter. But with shut throttles I guess the MAP sensor would do a better job.
