Mr Revhead[RL] Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 hehe   i mean look at the engine of a 1930s bugatti.... not just a power plant... its built with love.  or the lines of a 60s italian mid engined sports racer.... the g/box and suspension of the same thing...... mmmmmmmmmm :) Quote
NickZ Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 i was watching a show the other night and there was a 1902-5 not sure of the year steam car, Now that was a work of art and machanics, i was approx the size of other petrol cars of that time. Quote

Medicine_Man Posted January 22, 2005 Author Report Posted January 22, 2005 Instead of worrying about rust you'd have to worry about termites, he he he Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 22, 2005 Author Report Posted January 22, 2005 Instead of rust proofing, get pest control to give it the once over.. Quote
demuire Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 What powers the Morgan? They must have HUGE engines or something, there was one at Mt Buller Sprint (1978) and it was FAST!!! It came in 16th outright and the only other pre-1999 car ahead of it was a 1974 Detomaso Pantera (oooh beastie). It beat a whole heap of Evo's, GTR's, Porsche's etc, very impressive! Quote
Mr Revhead[RL] Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 they had either 2ltr 4cyls... or rover v8s. so id say that was a v8 one Quote
