Torque Settings For 4afe

Hey Guys,

 

I was wondering if anyone would be able to let me know what the torque setting for the big end nuts on a 4afe would be.

I have a gregory's manual on order but i won't get that till next week. :(

ok I don't know the answer but I can tell you what a 20v blacktop would be which I am guessing would be damn close if not the same.

 

take it to 29Nm and then turn an adition 90 degrees

 

make sure the threads are super clean and lubed up

Just got the book, yay,

 

it says 49Nm for the conrods.

Which book did you get ? Cause that torque setting sounds more like for the 4a-f. But just like peanut butter and peanut paste, its still the same brown stuff
