ke30dude Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 (edited) G'day everyone just wondering if someone can help me here. I have a rebuild kit for my fuel pump and I am pulling the pump apart at the moment. Top cover held by 3 screws, too easy. top half held by 5 screws, easy as well. Now how in the world do I get the diaphragm out? I took to it with the grinder and cut the top part of the thing (not the pump housing.) so I could see how it links but I just can't get enough room to unhook it and remove. Can anyone tell me how this is done? Cheers. :( Edited May 23, 2008 by ke30dude Quote
ke30dude Posted May 23, 2008 Author Report Posted May 23, 2008 Got it out, there was not enough room for the loop to slip away from the hook easily. I just gave it a good pry with some needle nose pliers. Quote
