G'day everyone just wondering if someone can help me here. I have a rebuild kit for my fuel pump and I am pulling the pump apart at the moment.

Top cover held by 3 screws, too easy.

top half held by 5 screws, easy as well.

Now how in the world do I get the diaphragm out? I took to it with the grinder and cut the top part of the thing (not the pump housing.) so I could see how it links but I just can't get enough room to unhook it and remove.

Can anyone tell me how this is done?

Cheers. :(
