This is my 1982 ke70 its running a Mazda Rotary 13b engin Specs are below: ENGIN: --------------------------------- MAZDA 13b 6port FULL CUT bridge port with tall port center plate S4 high compression rotors 3mm apexs Carbon seal kit Engin bay fully Deloomed/Polished/Chromed EXEDY 4puc Heavy duty Button clutch EXEDY HD Pressure plate 10lb HighTensile Billet steel lightened Flywheel 48mm Webber IDA Hi-Rise K&N Air filter MazFix HI-Rise IDA manifold (ported / pollished) 1 1/2" gilmore drive pullies New chrome alternator Holly adjustable rising rate fuel pressure regulator Holly Blue external Fuel pump Braided hose lines Electronic Dizzy Converted to coil packs 8.8mm Leads New plugs New 4core radiator + 2x 14" electric fans Rx7 s4 Oil cooler Large ported / polished exhaust ports New exhaust, Twin pipes over the diff + 2x custom rotary ressonators + promuff dumpy DRIVE LINE/ SUSPENSION: ------------------------------------------ RX7 s1 5spd gearbox RX7 hydro clutch mast cyl Converted to steering box (rx7) Custom made balanced driveshaft AE86 LSD rear end Converted to Hydrolic Disc Brakes all round Custom lowered suspension all round (shortened shocks + super low kings) INTERIOR: --------------------------------- 5" monster tacho 1x water temp gauge 1x oil temp gauge 1x oil pressure gauge Momo steering wheel, gear knob & pedals Evo 1 recaro seats 2x Sony Xplode 6x9 in rear 2x Pioneer 6" up front Retrimmed back seat + parcel tray overrated black door cards overrated Black dash New black carpet & roof lining New battery mounted in boot EXTERIOR: --------------------------------- Metalic Paua Blue / Purple pearl paint 17" Momo Corse RPM mags NOS chrome bumpers front and rear All chrome trimmings Now to explain a few things that you might not know about: Full cut Bridge port - this means that both the primary and secondary ports are fully Bridgeported not just 1 or the other or a small and a large port. Rotary engins come in 6port or 4port configurations (this refers to inlet ports), generally people use 4port motors to port out etc but mine is a 6port which means it has higher compression and lighter rotors and 3mm apexes, which are very desirable. It also has a Tallport center plate, Which are very sort after because they have much larger inlet ports Suspension is modified corona front struts which have been shortened, runs superlow king springs front and rear also the front arms and stuff are adjustable i think there AE86 or they may be XT130 Brakes, its got Dics brakes all round of a rwd toyota that ran a 3TGTE (1800 dohc turbo) so stud has remained 4x441.3 rwd toyota. Was running AE86 Brakes but these ones ive got now are slightly bigger. Diff is a genuine AE86 LSD, holds up very well mean sideways and skid action lol :y: thats about all i can think of now, but if you got any other questions ask :D cheers p.s: This is my current project 1980 KE70 Twin headlight Delux. has full tan vynal interior very different from any other ke/ae70s ive seen and also the vynal roof which i thing makes the car. Also come out from the factory with twin fule fillers and ran both LPG and Petrol. It took me 5-6years of hasselling a old lady to buy this car :) always wanted it from the 1st day i saw it told all my m8s 1 day I'm going to buy that and put a rotary in it..... funny thing was no 1 believed me :y: but Dreams do come true haha and the project is well on its way cheers Edited September 6, 2008 by Bznhrd Quote

Awesome car, but don't realy rate either sets of rims: 17s - just look too big IMHO, and the others - I hate 5 spokes mags drilled for 4 studs, the holes always look shit, apart from that - perfection. LOL hah yea i didnt really liek the shaved bumper look, altho the way it was done is possibly the best job ive seen, buy hey u gotta have the chrome ae! :lol: yeh the 17"s are a tad big ther 17x7.5 as well so they needed 15mm and 22mm spacers cos they rubbed a bit on the body inner guard on the rear and didnt clear the strut in the front, I'm saving up for a set of simmons f90s at the moment 3 piece stagered dish gold centers and polished lip, but those will be going on the red dx when shes compleated. i fully agree with you on the 5spoke and 4studds... I'm a perfectionest and tha way the holes are set really gets at me. haha no one notices tho but i do and yes she gets alot of attention from the police, more attention that a stripper in a strip club haha everything is 100% certifyed and legal tho so they can't do anything :( sounds tough as nails mate bet she would be a handful to drive :yes: thanks man :( alota people seem to say its one of the best rotors theyv ever heard, doesnt miss a beat ae haha she certainly is a hand full but thats what i love about it you gotta hold the f@$k on!! not really drivable in the wet tho its quite hard to get the revs up enuf just to get into second and the lsd throws u all over the show :) ahh i love it thanks for the comments guys ive got some updates to throw up later Quote

Bznhrd Posted September 7, 2008 Author Report Posted September 7, 2008 that looks unreal mate! nice work any idea on the tyre sizes with the 17s on it? i gotta pair layin about, this makes me curious haha thanks for ya coments guys :D yeh the tires are 205/40/17 if your going to go 17s on a rolla i reccomend u don't go bigger then 7 wide, 7.5 is just too much like ther ok but thers just a few little hassels and with the spaces for clearance which are usually like 25 - 35 mm they make ya wheels stick out to much and look shit wheels gotta tucked up in the guards :wink: i had mine custom made 15mm which i measured up to allow me just enuf clearance all round and still keep it looking good. some people have been asking me about rotorizing their corollas, i think i will make a dedicated post with full conversion doccumentaion, diagrams and dimensions. possibly do it step by step as I'm in the process of converting my twinheadlight at the moment Quote
