Medicine_Man Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 They must not have a very active transport department over in that country.. Quote
demuire Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 No they don't. Where else would you be able to get FWD cars with RWD offset rims (that obviously don't even come close to having their tyres fit under their guards), "Wiralution" (Proton Wira with evo gear), "Satrialution" (Satria with evo gear), neon lights galore, and all sorts of other stuff that really should be rather illegal... demuire Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 ... and "braided lines" (refer to thread awhile ago where some people had the idea that putting zip ties along the entire length of their brake lines would be a cheap and easy way of getting braided lines...) Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 for what possible reason would that give you braided lines? braid v. braid·ed, braid·ing, braids v. tr. 1. demuire Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 Who knows hey? I guess in a sense it would emulate braided lines because zip ties are solid so they don't "stretch" like rubber lines do, but still... Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 cable ties - weak, cable to be broken by human hands brake pressure - strong, usually needs over 100psi to move piston slowly there's just no helping some people. like the guy on oldcorollas who wanted to use a fridge core to cool his intake charge. omg quickly patent this idea before someone else thinks of it and calls it an intercooler! Jason Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 lol, I'm sure it would have great air flow to :P Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 One of the import videos I watched, the guy from micks metalcraft talks about intercoolers and people cutting down truck cores, he says they don't flow as good as a well built intercooler, because of cars and trucks different rev ranges..
