We are leaving it over the weekend, ready for buffing next week!!!

 

Hope everyone likes the new colour, as you really need to check it out in real life to see all of the pearls etc...

Wow! This car is amazing :S So much time and effort put into it, and it really shows. Can't wait to see it fully assembled and finished now that it has had it's respray.

been looking at your flaired rear guards, and i have a question

 

How much "flair" did you gain over the std arch?

 

I looked at doing this to my AE today, however, i don't have a rap around rear bumper to blend the rear of the flair into. Pitty, great idea, and will work really well on cars that have this sort of set up

I gained 25mm either side man!

It is a HUGE gain, but I wasnt going for anything crazy... wanted enough room for the wheels to tuck and to have a 'near' stock look!!!

 

And the rear bar had to be HEAVILY modded for it to fit correctly :yes:

You could do this to any ae82... Trust me tho... Its a fairly big job!

Yeah, we started the boff yesterday and it is turning out VERY nicely!

I wont post pics till the doors and gaurds are hanging :y:

 

Today I ordered all brand new, perfectly clear (no tint) front, rear, side and quarter glass :)

this car is awesome!

 

mine will be gettin new paint soon and i reackon i'm gonna do it similar to you.

.. take out glass etc.. weld in different guards to flare it.
