Not bad ay? The design is called "Natural" Very hard to get that design so i guess I'm just lucky.

Anyway.. Moe, lookin real good!

I just realized something, You don't have any rear door handles???

When did that happen?

I had them shaved AGES ago... but I think they were more noticable because I took pictures of the car in the SUN (yes, we do actually get that here in tassie :))

I was going to do the fronts, but got a case of the CBf's, so they will be colour coded, but the front door locks were gone!

Looking excellent . You have inspired me greatly, the extra effort is worth it in the end . 10 out of 10

Thanks mate... much appreciated!

great work!

question about your shaved handles?

how do you open them? poppers? can you show a pick of your setup?

also you've shave yout front locks!.

so i assume keyless entry. what happens if your battery goes dead?

also legality of shaved handles?

considering shaved locks on my car!

thanks.

Holy crap!

I just read through this whole thread and I have to say.. Top job mate, this is hands down, the best looking AE series corolla I've seen to date.

Looking forward to seeing the project completed, and sitting under those beaming show lights!

Hey champ!

The rear doors will be only opened from the inside! Because I removed the seat belts from the rear (look to cluttered for a show car IMO), I cannot sit anyone in the back anymore! So I just open from the inside!

The front locks will be run off of the standard battery and will be running a small 'back-up' battery under the dash which will be activated by a small switch under the car 'somewhere' in the case of a dead main battery!

In Tassie, there are no laws against no handles (I reckon the same for other states, but best to check), as long as there is a manual way of being able to get inside! But because no one will be in the rear of my car, there wasnt any need!

Hope that helps!

Hey guys

Got all my rear suspension arms back in this morning...

Coilovers in...

Put wheel back on... Wheel rubs on bottom of coilover spring

Stupid big ghey ass wheels lol

So going to get a slightly shorter spring set for the rear tomorrow (only needs to be about 20mm to 30mm shorter)...

More waiting :y:

Ohh, well that sucks. I reckon you could get away with less than a 10mm clearance. I can can't even fit my finger though the gap where my tire is.

Hope it all goes well :P

Thanks for the words guys :P

My front and rear bars, mirrors and front door handles will be sprayed next week, so the outside will be looking more like a car within a fortnight :(

And I am REALLY wanting to fire this beast up for the first time by the end of this month!!!

Looking awesome Moe! I can now see why you got your guards cut on the rear, looks really good.

Whats that black thing on your ceiling? is it a roof mount Screen?
